1. Justinian I. 527-565 AD. Follis  (a huge 40 mm!); Kyzikos (Cyzicus) mint; year thirteen. Obv: Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, holding globus cruciger and shield; to right, cross. Rev: Large "M" between ANNO (downward) and regnal year X/II/I. Above, cross; beneath, officina "B"; in ex., KYZ. SB 207. As can be seen, the reverse has a different tone than the obverse.
